To accomplish these critical investments in ministries, YCL conducts two distinct ministry enhancement strategies: retreats / conferences and camping experiences. These services compliment YCL’s mission and support the ministries of the Association churches.
YCL also extends the impact of the Associations ministry by providing these programs at a modest cost to non-association groups. The standards of quality services presented are based on the desire to offer a spiritual and recreational experience that will refresh and renew relationships with God and others.
Retreats & Conferences:
- By providing a Christian atmosphere bathed in the prayer and financial investment of the association of churches and individual Christians, YCL enables church boards, ministry leadership teams, pastors, and Christian leaders the opportunity to embrace spirit led planning. As we improve, the quality of facilities we are working in sync with the Holy Spirit as he helps these groups hear His call for these ministries.
Camping Experiences:
- Youth Camp Experiences- YCL provides local churches the opportunity for their youth to experience a concentrated time of seeking God’s direction for their lives. Thousands of individuals can trace critical moments of spiritual decision to their days in a Youth Camping experience at YCL. While local churches cannot afford to provide such an experience on their own, YCL uses the shared vision of our association of churches to ensure every local church has this critical ministry in its arsenal of spiritual weapons.
- Family Camping Experiences- In a culture where entertainment options that match a Christian world view are becoming more scarce, YCL is growing in its ability to provide a wholesome environment for families to recapture intimate time together. Fathers and mothers are able to get away from the business of secular life to spend time in play and spiritual growth with their children and each other. YCL provides high quality facilities including RV spaces, tent camping, and cottage space.
